Central America

When I started full-time slow travelling and living as a digital nomad, I started in Central America because multiple people in my environment had talked about its welcoming cultures, active volcanoes and the easy Spanish.

I started in Guatemala's the second largest city Xela (Quetzaltenango), thinking I would only be there for a month or two I ended up staying nearly six months, though with hiking trips to Acatenango and active volcano Fuego and a one-month backpacking trip to surf in Popoyo, NicaraguaMy travel guides and stories on Central America will hopefully inspire you to linger here and give you practical tips and advice!
