Asia

On my first solo backpacking trip outside of Europe I went to Laos for a self-organized internship at an organic rice farm. I spent five weeks being welcomed by a lovely family, ploughing rice fields with a buffalo and eating fresh noodles by the village's elder. 
My stories for Asia stem from that trip, but also from periods of anthropological fieldwork in Udaipur, India and from visits to Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that I work with in India and Bangladesh.
